Long recognised as one of Australia’s busiest and most respected Fight Directors, Lawrence is fully qualified by the ‘Society of Australian Fight Directors’, with over 15 years experience in stage combat.

He excels in a wide range of weapon styles as well as unarmed fighting & slapstick.

Lawrence has been involved in making theatre & film for most of his life. With BA degree in Acting, he has performed all over Australia as well as internationally.

Theatre credits include – The Three Penny Opera, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, King Lear, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Accidental Death of an Anarchist & HONK!!.  TV & Film credits include – Home & Away, Water Rats, All Saints, & Double The Fist Series I & II.

Lawrence has worked regularly with many of Australia’s Top Institutions including NIDA, Sydney Theatre Company, Opera Australia, Australian Actors Centre, Australian Institute Of Music, Company Belvoir, ABC Television & Brent Street Studios to name just a few.

More recently on this side of the globe, Lawrence created violence for More4′s Cinema Extreme production of ‘You’re The Stranger Here’, numerous productions in Switzerland &  ACP Theatre’s production of ‘The Show Girl’. He has also directed numerous Theatre & Film projects.
