Long respected as one of Australia’s busiest Fight Directors, Lawrence is fully qualified by the ‘Society of Australian Fight Directors’ with over 17 years experience in stage combat, excelling in most weapon styles as well as unarmed & slapstick.

Lawrence has taught and choreographed regularly for many theatre & film companies including Sydney Theatre Company, Opera Australia, Company B Belvoir, Bell Shakespeare, National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Ensemble Theatre Co., David Atkins Productions, ABC Television, CUT, Harlos, Blackdog, After Glow, & Fistworthy Productions.

Lawrence is also a respected acting coach, having run his own successful acting studio as well as teaching theatre performance at various institutes such as The Australian Institute Of Music, The Australian Actors Centre, Simply Theatre Switzerland, Brent Street Studios, Fame Talent, KCA Studios, & various other institutions.

Acting Theatre credits include – The Three Penny Opera, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, King Lear, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Accidental Death of an Anarchist & HONK!!.  TV & Film credits include – Home & Away, Water Rats, All Saints, & Double The Fist Series I & II.
